Asha acquired experience while working for the FBI using interviewing techniques such as firearms, deadly force, and even guns. Asha was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship to study Constitutional Reform in Bogota, Colombia after graduating as a cum laude student at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. Her law degree was earned at Yale Law School. There she was also a Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law. In addition to that, she served as a clerk in office of Judge Juan R. Torruella of U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit San Juan Puerto Rico. She has been admitted to the State Bar of New York (2003) and Connecticut (2003).
