Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 (February 27, 2010) Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet community situated on the West Island, which is part of the Montreal island. People who don't understand about the place mistakenly think that they are on the West Island extends westward from Montreal. It is actually, this is not the case. West Island includes everything westward of the city of Lachine. Amanda Brugel grew up on this island, and it is frequently known as the place where she was born. But she only resided there for a very short time. Brugel developed on Courtice close to Oshawa within Ontario. She wanted to become professional, however because of a huge increase in her height, she outgrew all of her dancing partners. In an interview with the Toronto Star, she confessed that "In heels I'm 6 feet, 1 inch." As soon as I outgrew the size of my male friends and stopped dancing, I quit. Many former dancers turn to acting, and in the case of Brugel, it was the result of a recommendation from her teacher in drama. The teacher recommended that she try out for a school play. Following a trial the role, she was chosen as the leading lady for Anne of Green Gables. It led to a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship at York University where she attended the Theater Program and graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in 2000. Since then, Brugel's been performing in over 60 plays, large and small. One of the most memorable was the time she was cast as Rita in The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel played the role of the character of Rita on The Handmaid's tale which was filming over 10 years ago.
